In 1998, GFB created the world’s first dual-port blow-off valve to solve a real problem on turbo MAF-equipped engines — stalling caused by full atmosphere venting.

That solution became the Hybrid, and it changed the industry forever.


⚙️ HOW THE HYBRID WORKS

The Hybrid uses a staged dual-port venting system:

  • 🟢 Recirculation port opens first for stable airflow metering
  • 🔵 Atmospheric port opens progressively under higher boost

This staged design allows:

  • Smooth drivability at low throttle lift
  • Audible blow-off sound under performance driving
  • No stalling or rich running on MAF systems
